Jenny is feeling better than she has in weeks, probably due to the steroids, but also the result of much prayer. She is amazing in her faith - she doesn't look or act sick except for a cough which hits her at times. The oncologist came in this morning and was pleased to see her improvement. Now he is talking in terms of weeks or months, instead of days or weeks. He said chemo would only give her a bit of time, that he could not see a cure from any treatment. Until they determine the primary form of the cancer they don't know the best chemo to recommend. He advised Jen to have the gynae assessment then there will be a multi-team discussion and they will come with options and maybe recommendations on Wednesday or Thursday. So medically we are waiting, but spiritually we can keep praying.
